WHAT IS ORGONE?
Orgone is a subtle, omnipresent energy within the building blocks of all life. This bio-energy is referred to in Traditional Chinese medicine as Qi, in Ayurveda and tantra it is called prana.
Orgonite is a substance made of resin, metals, quartz and other stones that balances and harmonises the bio-energy, otherwise known as orgone, chi or prana.
When Orgone was discovered by Wilhelm Reich in the 1930’s it was considered a cosmic life energy too subtle to be measured however this idea was not new as many ancient practices utilise the forces of this energy and can sense the way it moves, using it in order to heal imbalances within the body. Reiki, Tai Chi and Qigong offer such practices.
Everything around you is an energy generator and in an ideal world, you would have as many positive, energy generators around you as possible. In essence, orgonite is considered both an energy generator and energy accumulator.
Human beings, however, are complex energy systems. We absorb and accumulate the energy we pick up and we are sensitive to these energetic interactions. It becomes necessary for us to intentionally cleanse and transmute the energy within our bodies to create a calm, balanced and healthy life.
HOW IT WORKS

Based on these principles, Orgonite contains -
~ 50-50 mix of resin (organic, since it is based on petrochemicals), and metal shavings (inorganic).

~ quartz crystals and other stones (having piezoelectric properties, meaning they give off a charge when put under pressure - resin shrinks when it is cured, so constant pressure is put on the crystals).
The combination of the elements in Orgonite are constantly attracting and repelling energy therefore a “scrubbing” action takes place. Enhanced with the charge given off by the crystals, negative and stagnant energy is cleansed and returned to a balanced, vibrant, healthy state.
